Villa Moncigale has been part of Provence’s rosé tradition since 1921, rooted around the vineyards near the Sainte-Victoire mountain in Aix-en-Provence. The house is recognized for rosés that balance freshness, structure and finesse, drawn from calcareous clay soils and cool inland altitude.
This project took place in two phases — spring and harvest — to capture the rhythm of the vineyard across the cycle of the year.
Villa Moncigale’s identity is strongly anchored in rosé.
The cicada bottle, the pale pink tones and the Provence positioning naturally defined the direction of the shoot.
The pink spectrum guided the visual treatment.
We worked around:
Controlled highlights on glass
Soft shadow transitions
Clean reflections
Backgrounds that enhance, not compete
The connection to Mont Sainte-Victoire anchors the brand geographically.
Landscape elements were integrated with restraint — enough to situate the wine, without turning the shoot into tourism imagery.
Portraits were built around natural light and controlled shadow, keeping the atmosphere aligned with the rosé palette.
The result between spring and harvest sessions sit under the same visual logic:
Controlled pink tones
Clean glass treatment
Balanced shadow work
Consistent colour grading
The cicada bottle becomes the visual anchor across the series. The result is a cohesive rosé-focused archive that reflects Provence lifestyle and ambience.
